The Sun’s lover

The sun pinned her up against the wall

And whispered something seductive in her ear

He said that he would hold her and not let her fall,

That she no longer had to fear

Her heart had turned cold after all these years

For the longest time she avoided his gaze

But with just a look

She melted the sun
