Good Jeans & Brown Suga

Good Jeans and Brown Suga' is a display of resilience and beauty in the black community. It is a collection of photos and poetry brought together to highlight the aesthetic of the black community laced in denim. It is a journey through the photographer’s eyes and soul as he traversed through the year it took to create it: 2020.

He explores the balance of sensitivity and strength with the seemingly nonstop traumatic events that took place within just a few months like the racial injustices, Floyd riots, police brutality, and the global pandemic sparked by COVID-19. In celebration of the book's release in November 2020 Joshua and his team at Move Love Productions alongside creative director Brianna Parchment curated a denim themed fashion and art show. The book is available in both digital and physical platforms.
